We are never separated from the Creator.
You can explore your individuality, and still be connected to every other living thing.
You don't have to choose one or the other.
Also, this is a temporary existence. We are in each incarnation to learn karmic lessons from the last incarnation.
I am all about embracing the here and now. I make a conscious effort every day to live in the here and now.
To do anything else is only asking for suffering.
Are you familiar with Eckart Tolle? He has a fantastic book called The Power of Now.
